Dance Trainings in Ogbodu-ABA - September 2021

NATIVITI CULTURAL FOUNDATION is constructing empowerment centers in rural areas. Our volunteers gather elderly men and women to teach the youths forgotten ancient dances.

We started weekly Ode dance sessions in Ogbodu-ABA, running from September 2021 to June 2022. In these sessions, youths learn to play ancient musical instruments while mastering meaningful choreographies inspired by their forebears. Our goal is for every rural community in Nigeria to embrace dances rooted in their unique cultural heritage.
