of our ancestors to future generations.
GLOMINT, in partnership with Nativiti Cultural Foundation (NaCuF), is introducing younger generations to traditional foods, their origins, preparation, and cultural significance. Dishes: TAPIOCA/ABACHA – Made from cassava and traditionally enjoyed with locally produced palm wine. WILD OIL BEAN/UKPAKA – Its seeds are traditionally harvested, processed, and transformed into nutritious food. CULTIVATED OIL BEAN – Grown in parts of Anambra State and traditionally used in dishes such as Onugbu soup and Abacha. This is our heritage. Let’s preserve it, teach it, and pass it on.
